List of Functions for the Remote

The Remote is integrated using the processor it is connected to. Starting on devices with versions 4.0, you can fully customize the functions assigned to each button of the LaRemote. Here is the list and their explanation 

The customization of the Remote can be accessed through Monitoring> Remote. Simply drag and drop the desired function to the desired button on the main page 

Common

  • Bypass: Bypasses the current Optimization of the Preset. You can set a software or hardware bypass in Optimizer> Optimizer> Processing.
  • Dim: Lowers the overall volume to -20 by default. The Dim attenuation value can be changed in System> General> Volume

Presets

You can assign every presets created to each individual buttons available on your Remote layer. Once the preset created, it will show up in that specific list. 

Network

  • UP
  • Service: Allows the device to access the Trinnov Audio Server. Mandatory to download newer versions of the software, adding extra licenses and providing access to the device to Trinnov Support. 
  • DHCP: Activates the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. It allows the device to automatically self assign an IP address that is available in the network environment. 
  • Static: Manually Input a fixed IP address that will stay the same and never change

Runtime

  • Acoustic: This enables or disables the acoustic correction for the current Optimization
  • Level: This enables or disables the level alignment for the current Optimization
  • Delay: This enables or disables the delay alignment for the current Optimization 

Downmix

Activates the desired downmix. You can select which downmix you would like to show by going to Monitoring> Downmix and tick the downmix option you would like to use. 

Monitoring

  • Ref. level: Recalls the reference level value. You can change this value in System> General> Volume
  • Bass mgmt: Toggle on/off to activate/deactivate the Bass management feature. 
  • Toggle: use the toggle method for your sources. Either one or the other. 
  • Sum: use the summing method for your sources. Allows you to use both at the same time 
  • Sum mode: Switches between Single and Sum 
  • Phones Mute: Mute the headphones output
  • Phmute mono

Sources

Allows you to assign a source to a specific button on the remote. The sources displayed on the drop down list are the ones that have been assigned to the preset. 

Send Sources

Speaker sets

Allows you to assign a speaker set to a specific button on the remote. The speakers displayed on the drop down list are the ones that have been assigned to the preset. 

Speaker tools

  • Solo Mode: This mode allows to playback signal only from a specific speaker. Once engaged, select the speaker you would like to Solo.  
  • Mute Mode: This mode allows to mute a specific speaker. Once engaged, select the speaker you would like to Mute. 

The next options depend on the amount of speakers declared in the preset. Starting with groups of speakers 

  • Front
  • Surround 
  • Heights
  • Sub(s)

Then, the individual speakers follow. 

Power

  • Power Off: Switches Off the device. It will stay off after this parameter has been engaged. 
  • Reboot: The device will switch off. Once switched off, it will turn back on.
