The Trinnov app provides a unified experience across all your devices, eliminating the need to access the web User Interface (UI) or your Trinnov Processor through a web browser. Using the app instead of the web interface offers several advantages:

Desktop platforms

From the download page, choose:

• Mac App Store version – Standard build for most users
• EUCON/Gateway build – Only if you need EUCON support for Avid Control surfaces or gateway features

Windows

Download the Windows installer from the link above. Compatible with Windows 10/11 (64-bit).

Installing the app on desktop

macOS installation

1. Launch the downloaded app from the Mac App Store
2. If prompted, grant necessary permissions for network access
3. The app is ready to use immediately

For EUCON users:

1. Download the Trinnov EUCON/Gateway build instead of the standard App Store version
2. Install following the on-screen prompts
3. Enable EUCON in the app's settings after launch

Windows installation

1. Locate the downloaded installer file
2. Double-click to run the installer
3. Follow the installation wizard
4. Launch the Trinnov app from the Start menu or desktop shortcut

Installing the app on mobile

iOS and iPadOS

1. Tap the Trinnov app icon on your home screen after download completes
2. Grant local network permissions when prompted (required to discover your processor)
3. The app will automatically search for Trinnov processors on your network

Android

1. Open the Trinnov app from your app drawer
2. Accept any permission requests for network access
3. The app will scan for available processors

First launch and connection

Connecting to your processor

When you first launch the desktop or mobile app:

1. Automatic discovery – The app scans your local network for Trinnov processors
2. Select your device – Choose your processor from the list of discovered devices
3. Connection established – The app connects and displays the main interface

Quick start for NOVA and AltitudeCI (desktop only)

Before connecting for the first time:

1. In the list of discovered devices, check for Licenses & Updates buttons next to your processor
2. Install any required licenses for your processor
3. Check for and apply the latest firmware update
4. The app will handle installation locally via USB or network connection

Enabling professional features (desktop)

For EUCON gateway:

1. Ensure you're using the macOS EUCON/Gateway build or Windows app
2. Open Settings within the Trinnov app
3. Enable the EUCON gateway option
4. Your Avid Control surface should now detect the Trinnov processor

For La Remote gateway:

1. Connect La Remote hardware to your laptop via USB
2. Open the Trinnov desktop app
3. The app automatically acts as a gateway to processors on remote networks
4. Select the processor you wish to control
